This is a book of warning and preparation based on the Word of God for the purpose of conviction, repentance and salvation; and to instill a sense of urgency in the reader.
Have you ever had an experience where you casually took precautions to ensure you were prepared just in case something unfortunate happened? Maybe you've purchased insurance, put on your seatbelt, set the security alarm or brought your umbrella with you. You weren’t sure anything bad was going to happen, but you just wanted to be protected in case it did. Didn’t you feel good and breathe easier when you needed the insurance, when the seat belt did work, when the alarm stopped the criminal or when the umbrella kept you dry. These are somewhat common-sense things to do to protect yourself and your property. So, what are you doing to protect yourself in eternity? Just like in these precautions, you need to prepare for your future in eternity before you get there. Believe it or not, there is a God and an eternity with or without Him. Please consider one piece of advice. If you are going to underestimate anyone, please do not underestimate God due to your pride (arrogance) or lack of understanding (ignorance). Now’s the time to prepare for eternity with God!
Be encouraged to read One Day Without Excuse, you'll enjoy it and want to grow closer to God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Please have the courage to give One Day Without Excuse to someone you care about and seriously recommend it to them for their eternal security. You both will be glad you did!

Amazing Grace
by John Newton
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found
Was blind, but now I see
It was grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed
Through many dangers, toils, and snares
I have already come
It is grace hath brought me safe thus far
And grace will lead me home
When we've been there ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we first begun
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found
Was blind, but now I see
There’s a reason you have heard another sermon about the love of God and salvation through Jesus Christ. There’s a reason friends and family have told you about Jesus. There’s a reason you see God through His creation and sense Him through your conscience. There’s a reason you think about spiritual matters sometimes. It’s God trying to get your attention. The truth is you are as close to God as you want to be. You control the distance, and your distance from God will determine the consequences.
God, the Father and Jesus, His Son have been waiting for you. They have given you every reason to accept the love they have for you. They love you more than anyone will ever love you. They just love you, that’s all. No matter what! You need to humble yourself and be forgiven of your sins. All your sins. Only God and Jesus can do that. Pray to them. Ask them for forgiveness. Tell them you are sorry for your sins and regret committing them. Allow yourself and your heart to accept their love and forgiveness.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
John 3:16-18
Dear God,
Please forgive me of all the sins I’ve committed in my life. I am sorry that I have sinned against You. Please forgive me for being hard-hearted, self-righteous and rebellious toward you. Help me to live a righteous life with your help and the help of the Holy Spirit. Thank you, Jesus, for dying for my sins, shedding your blood on a cross and being resurrected from the dead by God, so I can be saved. I thank you for being my Savior and I want a new life in you. I need you. I trust you and I will follow you. Please protect me and guide me always. I want my life to count and I want to go to Heaven and worship you forever!
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
